Join Us for Our XVI Encontro Cultural!

Join us as we celebrate 20 years of building community in Boynton Beach, and 15 years of Capoeira Karkará at our annual Batizado, Troca de Cordas, and Encontro Cultural!

This special four-day celebration brings together capoeira students, teachers, and families from our own community and capoeira groups near and far to share in the rich traditions of Afro-Brazilian culture, celebrate our students' growth, and strengthen the connections that make capoeira so special.

Throughout the event, participants will enjoy workshops with special guest teachers, rodas, music, performances, and our traditional Batizado and graduation ceremonies. Together, we'll welcome new students into the Capoeira Karkará family, celebrate the achievements of our advancing students, and mark a very special milestone with the Formatura de Contramestra of Professora Fominha.

Whether you're a longtime member of our community or joining us for the first time, we look forward to sharing this unforgettable celebration with you!
